History

Founded in 1983 by Michael J. Weinzierl, currently owned and operated by Susan Weinzierl, PGC has grown steadily from a home-based operation to a full-service printing, creative, fulfillment, and mailing company. In 2004, PGC moved from its long-time Cranberry Township location to a 16,500 square foot building in the Sewickley region. It employs more than 25 employees and serves more than 200 clients.

In 2008, PGC achieved Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain-of-Custody certification, making it one of only a handful of printers in western Pennsylvania to hold this distinction. This certification demonstrates PGC’s commitment to sustaining the environment for future generations.

My secret to success is the powerhouse team and staff with Professional Graphic Communications. Their creativity and calculated printing strategies go far beyond the standard to help make their clients look exceptional superior. They are cost conscious, environmentally friendly, and savvy with the most up-to-date printing techniques and delivery.

We use PGC for invitations, special marketing pieces, business cards-a wide variety of things. They’ve been really good on the creative side; always coming up with some very nice design concepts. And they are ideas that are cost saving, too. I don’t have to worry that what they suggest will be something over the top. They keep our budget in mind and really go out of their way for us. I’d definitely recommend them-and I have.

Professional Graphic Communications in Sewickley continually provides fantastic service at competitive prices.  Their dedicated team of professionals always go the extra mile for my projects.  I hold them in the highest regard and consider them a true partner.

We’ve been using PGC for more than 10 years. In that time, they’ve been very professional, efficient and accommodating. Not only have they saved us money on our printing costs, but they’ve also provided a level of service and support that has allowed us to better serve our customers. I would attribute much of this to Mike Weinzierl, the owner, who makes sure that our needs are met on a timely basis-which is why we continue to do business with them.

As a member based organization, VisitPittsburgh recognizes Professional Graphic Communications, Inc. as one of our outstanding vendors. They offer full-service and turn-key programs for design, printing, mailing, fulfillment and advertising specialties.

(PGC) has been a member/partner of VisitPittsburgh since 1993.

Mike and Susan Weinzierl and their staff are committed to providing outstanding and personalized customer service. They take a family approach to doing business and get to know their customers. Relationships and long-term partnerships are important to PGC. They take the same approach to doing business, whether it is with a small business owner or a large Pittsburgh corporation.

Last year, PGC created a “Grow your Business through Tourism” campaign that incorporated a three dimensional mailing that was fully conceptualized through their design team. They managed the distribution list and mailing as well. The promotion included an invitation with a planter and flower seeds. The campaign resulted in full attendance at our event and drove new partnership sales to VisitPittsburgh.

The PGC team is highly creative and responsive to their customers marketing needs. We enjoy working with them as one of our partners who can provide printing and advertising specialties.
